I wrote and directed this short, along with being a one-person crew-which was tough but worth it (I'm thankful for c-stands). This short has been featured in Grand Rapids Film Society's "Open Projector Night".

Worked as Director of Photography, and Editor on this short. Used my skills to bring out the emotionality of this short, both heart-braking and heart-warming moments.

Horror short shot with a Bolex camera on 16mm film. This was my first time working with film. It changed many of the process I am used to, and I learned to adapt.

A series of music videos made in collaboration with bands local to the Grand Rapid area, for Grand Valley TV. Worked in many crew positions, but settled into to camera and editor roles before becoming the Director/Producer.

Volunteered to run a live camera for WYCE's "Jammies" event. This event was streamed.

About Me
One thing I knew when starting my time at Grand Valley is that I loved stories--so I followed that. My communication studies led me to explore how people understand each other, how we feel, and how we convey those feelings. My creative writing studies taught me to convey my own feelings, and tell my own stories. My film studies showed me a perfect way to tie this all together in a visual, engaging way--I knew this is what I was meant to be doing.
Every story I tell, wether written or through the lens of a camera is deeply personal to me. I hope by sharing these stories my work will resonate with audiences, and make at least one person feel less alone.
Through my experiences, I have been given the opportunity to contribute to many projects, including poetry publications in journals, short films, and music videos. I hope there are many more in my future.
I am always looking for a new story to tell. Let's talk!
